Paul G. Saunders Sr. Obituary

Paul G. Saunders, Sr. , a native of Norfolk, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on August 16, 2021. He was the son of the late Samuel and Georgia Saunders, Sr. Paul worked for the Department of Agriculture as a Botanist and later worked at Lafayette High School as an assistant principal. He also was a math professor at Hampton University and owned Olde Hampton Tax Service. Paul was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, Phi Delta Kappa, and F & A Masons, Inc. Survivors include his wife, Frances Saunders, his son Paul Saunders, Jr. and his wife Dionne, his daughter, LaFrances Saunders, and four grandchildren, Demetrius, Jelani, Jesse, and Jayla. Other close relatives include aunts: Maggie Brickhouse, Rosemary Fonville, and Mable Daniels.
