Mrs. Prator was my teacher for all 4 years of high school. She was a ball of energy! I remember her clapping her hands together dramatically and saying, "Enuciate!" Just thinking of her makes me smile. She loved music and I know that not only did she lead our choirs at LHS but she was also a pianist at her church. She will live on in our hearts...
In Memory of Mrs Prater. I wish I had got to see her on the 20th class reunion which I did attend. But I heard she went home to the LORD shortly before our reunion. She and music got me out of my shell. I had so much anger back in those days. I was mad at the world. My nicename was (ELVIS) in her class. She even called me that when she took role lol. Everyone laughed. In a good way. I still love to sing. I sing in church. This world only needed one Elvis.
I had Mrs Prater for 3 periods a day. For 2yrs. God Bless her I know she is home probably running God's Choir. Pray some day to join her. God Bless her Family. She was an Angel on Earth. Helped turn me from my anger to Music. Still an Elvis Fan. Love God more.
I will miss you Mrs. Prater. But thank you so much, for what you did to turn me around. I have never been to prison. But I was told I would be. But I am a State Corrections Officer for thirteen years.
