John was a great guy with an infective laugh. His extended family included Joe Jr., Barabara, Ben and Ernie, and I am probably forgetting someone. His parents always invited others in for dinner, and we had a great time together at Camp Chanco in the summer time. They had so many people at the dinner table that they routinely had soup first and drank evaporated milk. One time John and I put a 22 caliber bullet in a vice in their garage and shot a hole in their garage door. We were lucky that time. If you don't know the story, John died in a skiing accident along with another Williamsburg kid. A tragic loss for a wonderful family. His dad was a doctor and always rode his bike to work from Kingspoint to Monticello Ave. I thought that it would be good to remember John so others might do the same. John lived next door to Lori Harris and across the street from Christie Cook (RIP). Those were good days and we were all blessed to be able to spend them together. Thank you, David Garland
