Allison's youngest brother is married to my youngest sister, which made us family.  A warrior, she battled breast cancer for years.  Her determination to live showed remarkable strength and character.  Allison and I had a special bond.  We talked on the phone and I visited her many of the times I traveled to Virginia.  She was always on my Christmas card list and enjoyed receiving the family pictures I sent.  March 10, 2015, marked the one year anniversary of her death, and although we miss her, she left us with many wonderful memories, particularly her beautiful smile.  She will forever remain in our hearts. RIP my sister.heart
