Robert Barrow Cox II

WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia - Robert “Bobby” Barrow Cox, II, age 61, passed away on November 29, 2023, in Williamsburg, Virginia. He was born on March 30, 1962, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Bobby will be lovingly remembered and missed by his surviving brother, Richard Cox, of Toano, VA. He is also survived by his nephew, Nicholas Cox, of Toano, VA, and his niece, Hannah Mueller (Nick), of Beavercreek, OH. Additionally, Bobby leaves behind his great nephew, Braxton Mueller, of Beavercreek, OH.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Barrow Cox and Ruthie Jean Cox, as well as his brother, Ronald Morris Cox.

A private family gathering will be held to honor Bobby's memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Bobby's name to a charity of your choice.

It's sad to see this....Bobby and I both played football on the same team in the peewee leauges in Charles City County.  He was the quarterback the year (maybe '73 or '74) we won the chamionship and I remember him crying because he was so happy... as a kid it's the first time I had ever seen something like that.
