Lafayette High School Class of 1980 35th Reunion

All classes invited as well (must be 21 to attend).

All events will be held at the Quality Inn & Suites, 5351 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, VA (near Captain George's restaurant).  Meet and Greet on Friday, October 9th from 7 pm to Midnight. Buffet dinner on Saturday, October 10th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm; DJ from 8:30 - 1 am with dance floor. BUFFET DINNER CANCELED DUE TO LACK OF REGISTRATIONS.  SATURDAY BEGINS AT 7:30 PM WITH APPETIZERS FOR THOSE WHO COME EARLY.  ALL ELSE IS THE SAME.  

For both nights, there will be a table set up for each decade of LHS classes to coordinate, leave messages and memories (based upon registration as of September 27th).  For those registering, you will receive a LHS souvenir cup and raffle ticket when you arrive during the event weekend.  If you don't register (and just show up at the door), we may have cups available for sale or with a beverage (first come, first served).  Registration is highly encouraged as space is limited.  Raffle will be held Saturday evening and you do not have to be present to win.

All LHS classes are welcome.  To register for this event, they should go to www.LafayetteClassof1980.com website and request to be added.  They would need their class graduation year to be added so I can include it on their nametag.  Please spread the word around.

Attire for all events is basically, "wear what you want"  - dress up if you'd like or not.  Since our theme is "Life's a Beach," tropical attire is always welcome.  We will have the entire breakfast room and restaurant on Friday night and for Saturday, it will be expanded to the banquet room with banquet tables in the LHS colors. 

All events are cash bar, but soft drinks are included in the price.

Registration Dates:  Early bird registration for the Friday event is available until August 24, 2015 (CLOSED).  Regular registration for all events is September 27, 2015. 

Online Payment:  Paypal is used to process online payments.  You do NOT have to have a Paypal account to use this service.  They accept all major credit cards.

Checks:  If you are paying by check, they must be received by September 27, 2015

Cancellations:  If you already registered and need to cancel, please do so by September 15, 2015.  Small fee may be applied by Paypal for refunds.  If you paid by check, please allow 4 weeks for a refund check to be processed and sent.  No refunds are accepted after midnight on September 15, 2015.

Tickets at the door:  Tickets for Friday ($12) and after dinner event on Saturday ($22) but the LHS souvenirup and name tag will not be included with the ticket and the appetizers are while they last based on registrations as of September 27th.  Tickets at the door are cash only.

Hotel:  A block of rooms is available until September 8, 2015 for $72/night plus tax/fees.  Please call the Quality Inn & Suites directly to make reservations for the event (757) 645-3636.  Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Life's a Beach Event Details  

Friday, October 9, 2015, 7 pm - Midnight:

Meet & Greet with 70's, 80's and classic dance music (dance floor in restaurant area).  Includes platters of appetizers (likely buffalo wings, cheese/crackers, veggies, fried mozzarela, etc.  - we haven't chosen yet) while they last and you can order food from the restaurant individually if no appetizers are left when you get there. (food cut off time to be determined). Cash bar (soft drinks included).   No outside food/alcholol allowed.  Early bird registration available for this event until August 24, 2015, regular registration ends September 27, 2015.  Registration table opens at 6:30 pm.  Space is limited.

Saturday, October 10, 2015, 6:30 - 1 am (Buffet Dinner and Music - All Evening): 

BUFFET DINNER ONLY CANCELED.  EVENT BEGINS AT 7:30 PM WITH APPETIZERS WHILE THEY LAST, RAFFLE DRAWING ON SATURDAY NIGHT.  Buffet dinner (3 entree selections - prime rib, grilled chicken or pork loin and vegetarian lasagna or marinara pasta - final entree selections are in process) includes salad, vegetables, rolls and dessert, coffee/tea and soft drinks included. Dinner is from 6:30 - 8:30, DJ begins right after dinner.  Cash bar. No outside food/alcohol allowed.  Registration table opens at 6 pm.  Space is limited.  Raffle will be Saturday evening after dinner and you do not have to be present to win.  So far, raffle item is Dinner for Two at Captain Georges and we may have other items available depending upon donations.

Saturday, October 10, 2015, 8:30 7:30 pm - 1 am (music and festivities):

For those who do not wish to have dinner but want to come later (if you signed up for dinner, you don't need to purchase this option), we are offering the "after dinner" festivities with the DJ for a separate price.  Cash bar (soft drinks included) and you can order appetizers from the restaurant individually (food cut off time to be determined).  No outside food/alcohol allowed.  Space is limited.
